Always a plea­sure work­ing with new tal­ent, and aside from Kee­gan Rock­ley.. every­body in the shoot today was a first-timer with me.  Shoot was sched­uled for noon times, but some­body for­got to tell me that there would be so much damn traf­fic on the high­way today!  Kristy Muy (makeup artist) and myself arrived a tad bit late at the right spot, while Jayd arrived waaaaay on time but the wrong spot.  And that was ALL MY FAULT cause I bro­ken tele­phone texted the address to both Kee­gan and Jayd, oops.  And it was mad cold out­side, dou­ble sorry.

After warm­ing up and get­ting set­tled in, Kristy began doing what she does and started apply­ing the goods to Ms. Jayd’s face can­vas.  Mean­while, a lit­tle game of Where’s Waldo sur­faced as we were try­ing to fig­ure out exactly where Kee­gan (styl­ist) was at?  We knew he was down­town, but when he told me he walked back to Eaton Cen­ter, then I knew I had to go draw for him one time

So we made it back to our shoot loca­tion and Jayd was still in makeup, giv­ing me time to check my emails and Kee­gan some time to get his stuff together on the styl­ist front

Granted that Kee­gan was brought on to this project like a few days prior to today, he went to work!  And I was excited to see every­thing come together, because tal­ent births results, or so I find

After the makeup for Look #1 was com­plete, it was time to get the hair did

Spray spray spray.  Done.  And now it was time to play

Let’s just say I’m quite excited for the end result!  (as should you be, note to YOUR­self).  A bit pressed for time because Kristy had some fam­ily din­ner to attend, but we man­aged to make it through with a bit of time to spare (okay, no time to spare really, just an under­stand­ing fam­ily) and I’ll leave you with a few bet­ter sneak peaks into the shoot
